Paying the rental fees for Sterling House constitutes your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
PAYMENT POLICY: A deposit of 50% is required to confirm a reservation. Reservations for which a deposit is not received are cancelled 5 days from the date that it was made. The balance of the rent is due 90 days prior to arrival.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations and requests for change of dates or number of persons must be made IN WRITING. For cancellations received outside 90 days prior to arrival your deposit is refunded. For cancellations received within 90 days prior to arrival 100% of the deposit or rental (which ever has been received) is forfeited. However, if your dates have been rebooked your payment will be refunded.
TRAVEL INSURANCE: For peace of mind we recommend travel insurance. This can be purchased through CSA Vacations- 800-348-9505 or www.csatravelprotection.com
HURRICANES: We make every effort to keep the villa open. Sterling House is not responsible for days lost due to hurricanes. If you have any worry about this, please take travel insurance, especially if you are traveling during hurricane season.
KEYS: Keys will be provided for the villa. Any lost keys will be charged at $35.00 per set. Please leave all keys upon departure in our designated place.
LIABILITY: Island Dreams Ltd does not assume any liability for property loss or damages, nor liability for personal injury, accidents, delay, or irregularity for any reason, which may be occasioned either by reason of or the acts of any person, or agent working or involved with the Villa. Island Dreams Ltd does not assume any liability for property loss or damages, nor liability for injury, accidents, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of or the acts of any person or company engaged in conveying passengers to or from their villa. Transportation (airlines, ferries, charter vessels, rental cars and taxis) are supplied by providers who operate independently of Island Dreams Ltd. We assume no responsibility, therefore, for any loss, injury, or damage to person or property because of the acts of those providers. Furthermore, Guests are responsible for the villa during occupancy, must lock villa’s windows and doors securely at all times when not on the premises, and must exercise care in securing all personal property.
DAMAGE DEPOSIT: Damage deposit is refundable if the villa is left in good order within 30 days of your departure. Any long distance charges for your telephone will be billed to you.
MAINTENANCE: Every effort is made to ensure that villa and its inventory is in working order. Should there be a maintenance problem, every effort is made to repair a problem as quickly as possible after being notified. No refund or rate adjustment is made for unforeseen mechanical problems such as appliances, water, pool filtration systems, electrical supply, telephone service, air conditioning, television or cable service etc. Guests are expected to report any problems immediately.
